Year 7 Orientation Camp
Georges River Grammar strive to make the introduction to high school for year 7 exciting and comfortable, where the first three days of Term 1 are reserved for the young students to attend a Year 7 Orientation Camp. On this camp, the new students are able to develop a strong relationship with their new year group and the Year 12 leadership team, who accompany the students on the camp.
The orientation camp focuses on encouraging a strong bond between the students, allowing them to work together through activities that focus on teamwork and upholding Georges River Grammar’s Christian values. This vital part of our school culture is highly commended by many parents and students, as they feel that the school is enabling them an exciting entry into the next period of their lives, where the daunting ‘high school life’ is shown in a fun light.
