Mr. John Hey
The first principle of the school was Mr. John Hey (1986-1994).
He was one of the school founders and brought traditions from Trinity Grammar and Britain. Hey held the characteristics of all kinds of teachers and personalities, from scary to caring all at the same time. His main goals were philosophy and academic aspects for the school.

Mr. Terry Lidgard
This led onto the school’s second principle: Mr. Terry Lidgard (1995-2012).
Mr Lidgard’s vision was to build and develop the school. Everything was education as well as sporting and travelling, everything was encouraged by him. As the first point of school was academic, Lidgard had an alternative holistic approach

Mr. Patrick McGing
Mr Patrick McGing is now the principle of Georges River Grammar and started in 2013. Being a previous teacher at the school, he was familiar with the traditions and goals and maintained the caring, learning, environment of the school’s reputation since the beginning. Mr McGing’s aim now is the make the school similar to other independent schools incorporating technology into education, permanent buildings, a more advanced hall and overseas trips.
